My Son The Big Muckity-Muck Rock Star

Spence and his friend Conor decided last minute to enter the talent contest at school. They practiced twice, put on some silly hats, and marched onto the stage.

The music may not be your cup of tea, but I wanted you to see how far your little Lamb-Chop has come.
Next week he is going to the prom. Yes PROM! I'll tell you all about it in a phone call. For now, here is the video of his performance the other night.

Love,

My Son Is A Ham, And I Don't Know Who He Takes After.

Spence's last school musical, Into The Woods. They wrote in a character for him that was not in the original, so he had no lines, and no singing.  Just some tap dancing, and lot's of mugging. He did the best he could with what he was given, and apparently he was memorable, judging by the feedback. Here are some photos I snuck in.

Spencer and his old friend, Emma June. She doesn't look amused.

Ok, now she's amused. That is one of her little brothers, poking his head in the photo.

He must be dreaming of Broadway.

Feelin' Good, Good Friday

It's Good Friday, and I hope you're feeling GOOD. Here are a few pictures that might make you smile and remember the warm sunshine and good times we had. Hopefully we'll be able to do it again sometime this summer.
Love you,

Happy Easter

Bonnie,
I don't know if you've had a chance to listen to Spencer's new song, but I thought I'd post the link here so you know where to find it. He and his friend wrote and recorded it together. Spence wrote the melody, and he is featured on guitar and vocals. His friend Clay wrote the lyrics and plays bass.
Love you,

Bonnie, I've been looking through old photographs and scanned a few. The top one was when I brought Charlie to your parents apartment for Thanksgiving. We were trying to get him into a family way. And by that I don't mean "a family way", but you know what I mean! I think he was pretty hopeless anyway! I think it was 1990.

The bottom photo, judging by my pink sweats and pink top, was probably somewhere around 1981 or 82? I don't know if it was on Halkirk or what. Anyway, as always, thinking of you. More photos to come!!

Dancing Nana! Must see!

Oh my goodness. I just needed to post this video somewhere, Bonnie. I thought you would love it as much as I do. Watch "Nana" get funky. Don't forget to watch until the end, because she delivers a classic one liner. Thinking of you today, Bon-Bon.

Since I couldn't figure out how to add photos to the last post, I'm going to practice here.

I wanted to share this video clip that ran on the news a week or two ago. It's a very nice piece that well represents the bakery. I thought you might like to see it. Oops, the link got moved down to the bottom of the page. You will have to scroll down below the pictures to get to it! Just click on the link that says, 'Elm Street Bakery'  Sorry. Still learning.
